About
What is the Common Endeavor?
In 2026, as the United States marks its 250th anniversary, the Bahá'ís of the United States shared a message with their fellow Americans called A Common Endeavor: Realizing the Promise of America.
The letter is an invitation, not an argument. It asks people of every background and belief to sit down together, listen with care, and talk honestly about how we can rebuild trust with one another and move beyond the divisions that pull us apart. At its heart is a simple conviction: that the country's promise is something we realize together, and that conversations grounded in love and respect are where that work begins.
